About Me

Hello!
I'm Iphis (they/them), welcome to my page, thanks for stopping by! I am a 29-year-old disabled trans poet, science writer, horticulturalist, and ecologist living in rural Southern Appalachia. I love cooking for people, and can typically be found prepping meals for large-scale community events or just for my chosen family at home.
Much
of my writing these days focuses on eco-grief, my experiences in the American south as an unconcealably queer person, trauma recovery, and community building. In the past, I've written as part of an enviro-historical research team through the library system.
Relearning
HTML and CSS is something I began as a way to encourage myself to write more while engaging with my childhood hobbies. I struggle to put pen to paper if I don't believe anyone will read it, so I'm glad you're here, and I hope to have more posted soon!
Also, importantly, Free Palestine
